Stepping Stones...

I can't believe it's already been 3 months since I came to Louisiana. It's absolutely flown by! Olivier and I couldn't get along any better than we do. Overall, I am very happy and super excited for the upcoming changes.

Olivier is hopefully going to have a rough draft of his entire thesis by the end of August. We're crossing our fingers that he can find a job with ease. The sooner he gets an offer, the sooner we'll know where we will be settling down. And that's when the fun begins!

I absolutely cannot wait to decorate our new place. I've been reading up on how to re-upholster old furniture and other neat, little tidbits.

I love love love this simple idea of using place mats to decorate a kitchen wall! I can't wait to put my creative hands to use by trying this and other ideas. :) :)
