For breakfast, I found a massive rice crispy treat at the airport. I just had to get it!

We spent a lot of time with my family and Olivier finally got to meet my dad. We spent a few days at the beach, and the last day we attempted to snorkel because Olivier wanted to see whales fish. The water wasn't too clear that day, which was pretty disappointing. We did see a few fish and I managed to find a tiny crab.

Overall, it was a really good trip. On the way home, we got stuck in Atlanta because our flight was canceled. Thanks, Delta! At least we were given a hotel room and our flight was rescheduled for early the next morning. Atlanta is absolutely crazy about its gate changes, which happened a number of times. On our way to our new gate assignment, we just happened to run into our good friends, John and Dargan on their way to Charleston. It was really nice to see them since they'll be moving in a week. :(
The last day we were in Florida, my family gathered for a luncheon/engagement party/birthday party for Mrs. Dorrington. It was great - the food was amazing, and the company was even better. I could not ask for a better family and I miss them already!

Since we have been asked so many times when the big date is, Olivier and I have been putting some serious thought into picking a date for our wedding. I am a little nervous to pick a date. How does one go about deciding on the perfect time? I'd like it to be warm but not too hot, and I'd rather not have to worry about the summer storms. Eek! I have absolutely no idea! I really think deciding on a date will make it very real for me...Ah! At least I have an idea what my dress will be like. That's a start!
And once again, I've settled into reading my craft and diy blogs. I'm way too excited to move and I cannot wait to have a place of my own. I've absolutely fallen in love with this idea of having chalkboard cabinets in the kitchen!

It's so handy and smart!

And I love love love this idea of making wine bottle torches from this diy project here.

Design*Sponge has seriously become my favorite place to browse. I can't get enough of it!
